De Schaduw is a short documentary about a young Jewish girl. Annette Kattan was a Jewish girl from The Hague who went into hiding in Zeerijp, a village in the prince of Groningen. Arie Bosker talks about his memories of her. She got sheltered in his parents house when he was five. Also, a meeting between the second cousin of Annette, René de Vries. René made sure that a monument was erected in Zeerijp in memory of Annette Kattan. This project is commissioned by Emsdelta municipality.
